I decided to get this cell phone car mount for my boyfriend recently because he just became an Uber driver and needs to use his phone often while driving to get the information about his fares and all to help navigate him through his GPS. This can become a little dangerous while trying to drive and hold your phone at the same time so I wanted to get him a mount that would help him out in this type of situation.
I had looked into other mounts as well before ordering this one and decided I really liked the technique used in this kind of mount versus the others I researched. Several others had magnetic type of mounts and required sticking a large magnet on the back of your phone as well as sticking the actual mount itself to your dashboard with a very strong adhesive tape. I did not like this method at all because I feared it would be very difficult to remove if we were to ever not want it in our vehicle anymore.
I really liked the way this mounted because I know it will not cause any damage to my boyfriend's phone or car because it uses a suction type of grip rather than adhesive or magnets. It stayed in place very well and the adjustable arm was great to help him really see his phone clearly and also keep his eyes on the road and hands on the wheel for a much safer way of traveling.
