MagicFly Hair Brush Straightener

So I've been seeing these hair brush straighteners all over my Facebook and Instagram news feeds and I just had to get one to try it out for myself! I usually straighten my hair a few times out of the week and have been doing so for about 10 years now. I have owned my fair share of flat irons and usually can tell which ones will work well or not.

This brush looks like a flat iron and hair brush had a baby and this is the byproduct! It is super simple to use and only has three buttons in which you use to power on the brush and then a button to both increase or decrease the temperature that you desire to use. I have super fine hair and don't like to use a lot of high heat on it because of breakage, so I really liked that I am able to customize the temperature. The heat options range from around 100 degrees on up to 450 degrees. The LED display clearly shows you what the temperature is at and there is a locking feature as well to keep the temperature where you want it. You can also switch the temperature to Celsius if you want!

The brush tips are made from heat resistant silicone that feel and look like any normal hair brush would. They do a nice job at gliding through my hair without getting stuck in kinks or pulling my hair out. The base of the brush can get quite hot depending on the temperature you've chosen to set it at but the brush tips are equipped to be anti-scald. They also help to take away any static in your hair. This brush will automatically shut off after it is not in use for 60 minutes. Personally, I think that is a little long to have your hot straightener sitting on if you're not using it, but at least it does have an automatic shut off feature, unlike some other brands of flat irons.

I have created this short video to demonstrate how to use the hair brush straightener. My hair was up in the bun so there were kinks and waves left in my hair from that, so I decided to test out the brush on how well it worked at straightening out those areas. It did fairly well, however left a slight wave still after I ran it through my hair a few times. I had it set at 300 degrees. I did this rather quickly, so maybe if I had spent a little more time with it, the results would have been more significant. Overall, I feel that I would definitely keep giving this brush a try and use it on days I don't want to use a ton of heat on my hair because I can control the temperature!
