One of the best skin product discoveries I have come across so far has to be Valentia's line of skincare treatments. They are seriously amazing! I have quite the collection going and plan on keeping it growing until I own all of their items! This time, I have their Detoxifying Clay Mask and their Eternal Youth Exfoliation Scrub.
First up is the Detoxifying Clay Mask! This is a natural Kaolin clay and botanical mask that works to gently remove excess dirt and oil, while also deeply cleansing and exfoliating your face to show results of smoother and softer skin. This is packed with all of kinds of awesome ingredients like plant stem cells, spirulina, CoQ10 (great for wrinkles) and Hibiscus and cranberry fibers. The Hibiscus and cranberry fibers added to this mask make it smell SO GOOD and will leave your skin smelling great as well.
Using this mask is super simple. All you do is apply it generously to your face with your fingertips and spread it evenly across the surface of your skin, avoiding the eye and mouth areas of course. Then you leave it on for about 15-20 minutes or until it fully dries, followed by using a damp wash cloth and warm water and gently rubbing the mask off of your face in circular motions to really slough off your dead skin cells and exfoliate your face well.
Next up is the Eternal Youth Exfoliating Scrub. This product is great for getting rid of all of your dead skin cells and really brightening up your face. This does not need to be used in addition to the clay mask, as the clay mask already exfoliates your skin when you use it. This is a scrub that you would use when you want more of a quick exfoliation without having to wait for your clay mask to dry.
The texture of this scrub is almost like a gel consistency, but it is not overly messy or hard to use. This one you just scoop out a small dollop with your fingertips and gently work it onto your skin in small circular motions across the surface of your face. You can also use a face brush or wash cloth with this as well. Simply rinse the scrub off with warm water when you are done. The key ingredients this scrub are olive butter, avocado butter and kukui butter. These "butters" are all really great at soothing, softening and brightening your skin tone to help even it out. It also contains green and white teas which is predominately what you will smell when using this. It is not an overpowering scent and is really pleasant!
