Osaka Cafetiere French Press

I am a gigantic coffee lover! I drink probably over 20oz. every day at work, on the go or at home during my down time. I typically brew my coffee in a standard coffee maker using filters and ground coffee. I had heard of french press coffee before, and always wanted to try it out, but never really understood the process of it or how it was different from using a regular coffee pot.

I decided to finally give it a shot, and I was not disappointed with this french press from Osaka. It is made from a thick double-walled Boroscilicate glass that is great at keeping your coffee or tea extra hot after you make it. This type of glass hold in the heat a lot better than most other coffee presses I've learned.

The plunger and mesh filter are both made from strong and durable stainless steel, which also helps to ensure there will not be any coffee grounds in your cup when you are ready to pour yourself a cup! It glides very smoothly down the pitcher and produces a delicious pot of java! All together, this can make about 6 cups.

The lid is made from beautiful hardwood that really gives the press a very rustic but still elegant appearance. The top also has a rubber lining to help create a nice air-tight seal so there is no spillage when pouring and this also helps trap the heat inside to maintain the hot temperature.

I am very pleased with this french press and enjoyed learning something new! This proved to be a faster and more flavorful way to make my coffee and I will certainly be using it more often when I am in need of a caffeine fix! You can purchase this french press on Amazon for $33.99 through the link below:
